    Libertine Pictures is an award-winning independent film and television production company founded in 2013, based in Wellington and led by accomplished producer Richard Fletcher and internationally-acclaimed writer Neil Cross.

     

    Libertine Pictures produces bold and compelling feature films, documentaries and television drama working with established storytellers and filmmakers and nurturing emerging talent. Libertine's aim is to inspire, challenge and innovate. It is passionate about bringing powerful and distinctive stories to the screen.

     

    Recent productions include the feature musical Daffodils,three series of the award-winning family mystery adventure Mystic, and three series of the romantic comedy Under the Vines.It is currently in production on the new family series Secrets at Red Rocks.

It is a leading advocate for New Zealand screen culture and for healthy production businesses.It has regular and constructive dialogue with funding bodies, broadcasters, government, and with other national and international industry groups and opinion formers in order to monitor and influence the development of

    New Zealand's screen production policies and to provide a voice for the production industry.

     

    SPADA also provides a range of services including training, industry events, a mediation service, and advice on employment, copyright and contractual issues to its members. It provides comment on and makes submissions on various policy documents and industry submissions.
